In its 21 year history James Wilkinson was the only artist ever appointed as the Official artist to the V Festival. During his time there he collaborated with the performers and staff, backstage and on-stage,to create paintings, sketches, photographs and videos that were displayed and sold in annual exhibitions to raise money for the local Childrens hospice and cancer charities.

Noel Gallagher created from the faces of his audience at V2012. An additional live acrylic sketch was created on stage as Noel performed on day 1 of V Fest Chelmsford.
