This unique exhibition by artist James Wilkinson has been a long time coming. Wilkinson&#39;s work,appearing at first glance as classical portraiture, is embedded with artefacts from the lives of his subjects.In Lennon&#39;s case, the collection evolves around the microphone leads used to record ‘Imagine’ in 1971. Now, the wires bring Lennon&#39;s vision full circle, becoming pieces of art themselves and continuing to share the message of peace, resonating with the message that flowed through them. James Bay  created a number of drawings, a self portrait and signed a portrait by Wilkinson. This official portrait combines the on-stage sketch with the backstage reference and includes references to influences that James Bay and James Wilkinson discussed. 
The Gimme V portraits were the main theme of 2015 where the subjects agreed to give Wilkinson 5 things, not just objects but self portraits, plugs for the charity and signed items to help raise money for Little Havens Hospice.
