French tulips have always been something special to me. Tulips are very beautiful when they bloom. And the most beautiful tulips I ever saw in my youth, grew in my mothers neigbourhood. They were of a rare kind. These tulips had a light pink color, some even white-pink, such a delicate teint. And the sun shined through the thinnest leafs. On the lawn of the flower bed, these tulips looked simply heavenly.
