Modern painting differs from traditional classical layering. That is, in addition to the base layers of registrations, objects and objects are painted with varying degrees of texture, stroke height and opacity, and this allows the paint to fall on the surface unevenly, creating a colored mesh or characteristic “scuffs”, bumps, gaps when layering. The lower layers of paint do not completely overlap, they are glazed, scraped out, “muffled” with a dry brush, and so on. This creates whimsical overflows of color, textured richness, complexity and "workmanship" of the painted surface and, of course, helps to express the main idea of the artist.
